Privacy policy
How we handle your information, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 4 October 2026.
We ask for as little as we can. If you fill in a form on this site, we use what you give us to reply to you and to arrange lessons — nothing else. We do not sell your information to anybody, ever.

What we collect, and why
Only what a reply or a lesson actually needs. Every field below is one you typed in yourself.
When you use the plan builder or the contact form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, and your email address if you give one. The plan builder also records the answers you chose — your transmission, your experience and when you want to be test-ready — because that is what produces your plan.
We use this to reply to you, to match you to an instructor who covers your area, and to arrange lessons. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you expected to happen.
Marketing is separate. The tick box for offers and updates is unticked by default and nothing on the form requires it. If you do not tick it, you will only ever hear from us about your own enquiry. If you do, you can stop it any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
Postcode checks made with the coverage search are stored briefly and without your name, so we can see which areas people are asking about. They are not linked to you.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores a small amount of information in your browser to remember your light or dark theme and whether you have already dismissed a pop-up. That never leaves your device and is not used to identify you.

Who else sees it
A short list of suppliers who run parts of the service for us. None of them may use your information for their own purposes.
Vercel hosts this website. MongoDB Atlas stores enquiries. Resend sends the emails that confirm them. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was filled in by a person and not a bot.
Your instructor is told what they need to teach you — your name, your number and your area.
Beyond that we share nothing. We do not sell your information, we do not pass it to lead-generation companies, and we do not add you to anyone else’s list. The only other circumstance is where the law requires it of us.

How long we keep it
Some of it deletes itself. The rest we keep only while it is useful.
Enquiries and lesson records are kept while you are a pupil and for a period afterwards, so we can help if you come back to us. We are finalising that period and will state it here; in the meantime you can ask us to delete your records at any time and we will.
Security records — who signed in to our admin and what they changed — are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Postcode checks and anti-spam counters are deleted automatically within days, by the database itself.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for any of the following, free of charge. We will respond within one month.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you; to have it corrected if it is wrong; to have it deleted; to restrict or object to how we use it; and to receive it in a portable format.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.

If we change how we use your information, we will say so here.
This policy was last updated on 4 October 2026. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you rather than rely on you noticing this page.
