Our driving instructors

14 DVSA-approved instructors across two regions. Two of them used to mark the test for a living.

Asif picks every instructor himself, which is the whole reason this page is a list of people rather than a stock photograph of a car. Tell us what you need — a particular transmission, a female instructor, a language, an area — and you are matched rather than allocated.

Languages

Lessons in the language you think in

  • English
  • Urdu
  • Punjabi
  • Somali
  • Hindi
  • Pothwari
  • Swahili

Every instructor is fluent in English — the test is conducted in English or Welsh and an interpreter is not permitted. What the list means is that the explaining can happen in whichever language makes a roundabout make sense to you.

It matters most on the first few lessons and when something goes wrong. Ask for it when you build your plan.

Before test day

Marked by people who used to mark it

Senior instructors run mock tests to DVSA standard on real test routes from your own centre — £100, about forty minutes, with the marking sheet gone through fault by fault afterwards.

It is the one thing that reliably separates “feeling ready” from being ready, and it is available whether or not you learn with us.
